Experiences
As a fully working wine farm, Terre di Baccio produces a selection of local wines, including a Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. and a Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G., as well as an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
We offer full wine and olive oil tasting experiences in our recently restructured Cappella del Bargagna, a small chapel of historical relevance for the town of Greve in Chianti. We were able to trace its origins as far back as the XVI century, when it was mentioned in the “Mappa dei capitani di parte del popolo di Montegonzi”; it was rebuilt and expanded for local use in 1862.
The villa’s historical wine cellars are also available for wine tastings – this is the oldest part of the building, built on the ruins of an old watchtower, around which the very villa and farm estate were developed.
As a working wine and olive oil farm, we are able to offer our tastings year-round; our guests may enjoy our products and also admire the changing Chianti scenery throughout the four seasons…
