The dovecote (or pigeon tower) is a typical structure of the 1500s rural architecture, located in the highest part of the farmhouse and once used for the breeding of doves. Still today, inside its stonewalls, you can find the pigeonholes, which have been preserved to maintain the memory of their ancient function and which strongly characterize the space. This apartment is reached through the main stairs of the Farmhouse. The interior space is laid out on two floors. The first floor includes a large kitchen-dining room with a wood burning fireplace and a view overlooking the hills: from here, through an internal staircase, you can access the two rooms of the tower. The main room is one of the most romantic in Terre di Baccio with its breathtaking view and original wooden beam ceiling. The second double bedroom is small and intimate and has a typical attic terrace.
